Old Chackbay Church Revisited…
Five years ago, I happened upon this place. Beautifully decrepit, abandoned, haunting.
Some time early last year or the end of the previous year it finally gave up and fell. I noticed it last year while driving through & saw the steeple at a neighboring house.
A friend recently mentioned that I should take a photo to complete the series of them in its varying states.
This is the end result. They start from top left and go to the right ending at the bottom which is its current state.
Hardly recognizable especially with the looted steeple nowhere to be found. Old Chackbay Church Revisited…
